Manzanita Sunset

Manzanita is a beautiful place on the Northern Oregon Coast. Located 12 miles south of Cannon Beach, it has a lot to offer. There is hiking, biking, canoeing, lots of state parks (Nehalem Bay State Park, Oswald West State Park), beautiful nature and of course the beach. The beach in Manzanita is 7 miles long and dogs are allowed off leash under voice control on the beach. Be sure to check the Manzanita Tide Tables when going for a walk on the beach. It’s always nicer to walk during low tide when the beach is wider. During high tide, the beach is much shorter and my troublemakers (Shanti & Indie) tend to scarf all the debris left behind by the waves during high tide.
